The Evolution of Teen Girl Clothes

Teen girl clothes

More than 25 million teenagers are walking around the country today, and most are extremely aware of teen fashion and teen clothing trends. In fact, 57 percent of them save money to buy teen girl clothes or teen boy clothes. Even those just outside the teenage years care about fashion, with about 44 percent of those ages 20 to 24 saying that being fashion forward is important.

Girls in particular comprise a majority of these numbers, and understandably so. Most teen girls shop for teen girl clothing frequently, hitting the shopping malls to find fabulous deals on teen outfits and teenage girl clothing. Luckily, the market for teen girl clothes is just as large as the amount of girls looking for it.

The great thing about teen girl clothes is that they are always evolving and responding to trends in women’s fashions, trends in celebrity fashions and trends elsewhere. Many even take into account some older trends today, like buttons on jacket sleeves which were made popular by Napoleon Bonaparte of all people. He apparently put buttons on soldiers’ sleeves to keep them from using sleeves to wipe their noses. And they rely strongly on major name brands too, like the famed Chuck Taylor and Converse sneakers, which were made popular after then basketball player Chuck Taylor complained that his feet were sore and was subsequently given a job at the company to find solutions. While teen girl clothes do not fit with every trend, they are found virtually everywhere.
